UNIVERSAL SANTA FACE ROUGHOUT

A Santa for you to Carve

This roughout is based on my Santa Face, which I use for my classes.
Buy a roughout and you will not have to start from scratch like we do in my classes.
This roughout makes the carving go quicker and will be easier, but still offers you the versatility to carve the mustache and mouth in several different ways, the eyes can be carved to express several different emotions and also the hat tassel and ball can be placed on either side.

These roughouts will allow you to carve Santa's that will all look different from one another.

2006 Santa on the Roof

 Not Available

Every few years, here in the Flint Hills of Kansas, we get some unseasonably warm weather on Christmas Eve.

Santa, being used to the cold of the North Pole, takes this opportunity for a quick nap on a warm Kansas roof top

 Snowman Scene

2006

   Not Available

The children that made these Snowmen have just left the scene after being called by a neighborhood Mother.
Hot chocolate is steaming and fresh baked cookies are waiting by a crackling fireplace fire.
Sleds, mittens and their little tracks are all that are left by the Snowmen.
Perhaps if you click on the picture at the left you can see the tracks
(both, paw prints & yellow at the bottom right of the tree) of their little dog
as he accompanied them while they built their  snowmen

The Advent Wreath

Designed and Carved especially for Children

Sold

Larry Barbary

Christmas is a special time and the Advent Wreath is a family activity that is always memorable for children.
Children seem to enjoy activities more if they are involved and have the opportunity of participating.
This Advent Wreath has been carved so that the children can enjoy the lighting of the candle, with no fire.
There are black wicks and lighted light (which resembles a flicker light) for each of the candles.
On the Sun. that a certain candle should be lit, the child can pull up on the wick, take it out,
then stick the flame in.
This woodcarving includes 5 faces plus the base.
There is also an instruction sheet that may be used with the lighting of the Advent Wreath.

Advent is the beginning of the Church Year for most churches in the Western tradition.
It begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day, which is the Sunday
nearest November 30, and ends on Christmas Eve (Dec 24).
If Christmas Eve is a Sunday, it is counted as the fourth Sunday of Advent,
with Christmas Eve proper beginning at sundown
.
